2010년 남아프리카의 케이프타운에서 열리는 제 3차 로잔대회에 앞서, 로잔국제지도자대회가 6월 8일부터 12일까지 장로회신학대학교와 서울교회에서 열린다.
1974년 스위스 로잔에서 열린 제 1차 대회와 1989년 필리핀 마닐라에서 열린 제 2차 대회-당시 이종윤 위임 목사님이 주 강사 중 한 분이었다-에 이어 제 3차 로잔대회는 "세상과 화목을 일으키시는 그리스도 안에 계신 하나님(고후 5:19)"을 주제로 삼고 있다.
60여개국의 복음주의 지도자들 250여 명이 모이는 이번 대회는 2010년에 열리는 제 3차 대회의 준비사항을 점검하는 리허설 성격을 가지고 있기에 그 중요성이 더욱 강조되고 있으며, 특별히 한국에서 이러한 중요한 대회가 열리는 이유는 한국교회의 괄목할 만한 부흥과 깊은 영성, 그리고 한국이 가진 뛰어난 IT 기술 때문이다.
6월 8일 저녁 6시 서울교회에서 개회예배를 드리는 이번 로잔국제지도자 대회를 위해서 한국로잔위원회(의장: 이종윤 목사)와 서울교회 킴치신학세미나, 장로회신학대학교가 오랫동안 준비해 왔다.
특히, 킴치신학세미나는 준비위원회를 기획, 진행, 의전과 수송, 안내, 봉사, 멀티미디어, 의료, 재정, 홍보, 통역으로 조직화해서 이번 대회가 잘 치러질 수 있도록 기도하며 준비하고 있다. 이번 로잔국제지도자대회가 하나님의 은혜로 성공적으로 마무리되도록 성도님들의 많은 기도와 협조를 부탁드린다.

Prior to the third International Congress on World Evangelism at Capetown, South Africa in 2010, the Lausanne Biennial International Leadership Meeting will be held at the Presbyterian College and Theological Seminary and Seoul Presbyterian Church from June 8 to 12. Since the first International Congress on World Evangelism at Lausanne, Switzerland in 1974 and the second Congress at Manila, Philippine where Rev. Jong Yun Lee was one of the key speakers, the third Congress will meet under the theme of "God who reconciles the world to himself in Christ" (2 Cor.5:19).

The Lausanne Biennial International Leadership Meeting will consist of approximately 250 evangelical leaders from 60 nations. It has great significance because it will be a rehearsal for the leadership of Lausanne to check their preparedness for the Third Congress. The reason why the International Leadership Meeting is being held in Korea is that the leaders want to see the remarkable revival and profound spirituality of the Korean church, as well as utilize the outstanding information technology that Korea has.

The Lausanne Biennial International Leadership Meeting will begin with an opening service on June 8 at 6 pm at Seoul Church. The Korea Lausanne Committee (chairman: Rev.Jong Yun Lee), KIMCHI (Korea Institute for Mission & CHurch renewal International) of Seoul Church, and the Presbyterian College and Theological Seminary have been preparing for this meeting for a long time. KIMCHI has prayed especially that this meeting would be successful, and has already been preparing through its preparatory committee by planning procedure, protocol, transportation, guidance, service, multimedia, medical service, finance, advertisement and translation. I request that the church members pray and help in order that this meeting will be successful by God's grace.
